Manager, Strategic Systems

This Manager, Strategic Systems is a key member of the Neat-Oh! [NOI] team and is responsible for both hardware and software for the organization.
On the software side, the role oversees data management, data integrity, and reporting in the company’s SAGE Accpac ERP System, the database, Publicaster email marketing database, Access database and the Neat-Oh! web-site.
On the hardware side, the role maintains employee PC and Mac systems, printers, hosted server (Rackspace) and email.  This strategic role will help implement and grow the company’s information management systems, processes and practices to help Neat-Oh! become a market leader in the toy industry.

Essential Job Functions

  • Administer and maintain SAGE Accpac ERP System, Access Database, database, and Publicaster email marketing system
  • Manage, update and maintain websites (Joomla)
  • Data maintenance and reporting in company software systems
  • Exporting data from base system and massaging data in Excel to create desired reports
  • Maintain Neat-Oh! standard quote sheets and key sales documents database.
  • Analyze problems and recommend solutions as related to the company’s information systems.
  • Manage and maintain budget for software systems.
  • Develop policies and procedures for “new employee” start up – computer configuration, backup procedures (longer term) Plan and Implement Tier 1 integration.
  • Grow this role as the company grows to assume more responsibility for the Information Systems Management at Neat-Oh!

  • Accurate management and analysis of data, understanding of data modelling and data relationships
  • Responding to requests as directed
  • High level of data integrity
  • Delivery of accurate task performance and record keeping.
  • Creation of systems that allow direct and immediate access to sales data and information, including lead status, account tracking and forecasting, etc.
  • Creation of reports which are useful and meaningful to the business.
  • Accurate and timely reporting on sales and sales leads
  • Demonstration of full working knowledge of and use of NOI procedures, policies and marketing messages.

Exceptional computer skills required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
This individual will have experience:

  • Microsoft Server
  • Microsoft Access
  • Accounting software – SAGE or like system
  • Excel – knowledge of formulas and functions required
  • Relational databases
  • Database administration
  • Project tracking and management
  • Administrative support
  • Software installation
